Bring a little bit of life to your living space
You don’t need a full overhaul to rejuvenate your home. Two or three intentional changes can give your space a new life. Play to your senses by incorporating bold seasonal colors, fresh scents, and functional (comfy!) pieces. Here are our five easy ways to freshen up your home for Spring.
Re-Style Your Bed or Sofa —
Start with 2 to 3 large neutral shams in a light textile (like linen). Complete the stack with a vibrant lumbar pillow, and you’ll feel like you have an entirely new room! Be intentional when pairing your pillows; choose complementary colors and patterns that won’t compete with one another.
For optimal fluffiness, stuff your pillows with extra filling and karate-chop them into the perfect shape. Not sure which size pillows you need or which colors go together? Don’t go rogue. We’ve got plenty of inspiration on our IG page!
Incorporate a Seasonal Scent Into Your Routine —
Spritz a fresh, airy perfume in the mornings for a lingering signature scent. Not a perfume girl? Pick up a floral candle the next time you’re at the store. Magnolia is our fave!
Keep it (actually) fresh. To avoid inhaling or absorbing toxins, choose fragranced products free of phthalates, propylene glycol, and parabens—your body will thank you.
Add Fresh Flowers to Your Grocery List —
Fresh flowers don’t need to cost an arm and a leg. One or two bunches of grocery store tulips can breathe life into an entire room— literally. Tulip stems continue to grow and blossom even after they are cut! Give them plenty of cool water and place them in indirect sunlight to watch them dance all week!
If you’re up for a challenge: arrange 5 or 7 (always style with an odd number!) white orchids into a shallow glass bowl. Cover the dirt with moss. Investing in multiple orchids may be pricey up-front, but you’ll end up with a stunning centerpiece that will last months!

Replace Everyday Items For a Bit of Novelty —
If you’re in a bit of a funk from being at home all year… Swapping out little items like napkins and tea towels can bring a bit of bounce to the mundane. For the spring and summertime, choose bright colors and cheerful patterns. We love to hang our tea towels on the kitchen sink or over the oven!
